Responsibilities
- Perform microbial load testing, pH analysis, viscosity checks, and stability studies on every product batch.
- Verify incoming raw materials — natural extracts, oils, powders — against quality specifications.
- Conduct accelerated and real-time shelf-life testing for skincare, haircare, and food products.
- Maintain lab equipment calibration, cleanliness, and safety protocols.
- Record test results accurately and flag deviations to the R&D and production teams promptly.
- Support NABL/ISO audit readiness and maintain testing documentation in compliance with GMP standards.
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Chemistry, Microbiology, Food Science, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of QC/QA lab experience in cosmetics, FMCG, or food manufacturing.
- Hands-on familiarity with standard lab instruments (pH meter, viscometer, autoclave, incubator).
- Attention to detail and methodical record-keeping habits.
- Bonus: experience with FSSAI documentation or cosmetic regulatory testing.
