Responsibilities
- Own uptime and reliability of factory-floor automation — PLCs, SCADA dashboards, and batch-control systems.
- Deploy and maintain IoT sensor networks for temperature, humidity, and equipment health monitoring.
- Build alerting and incident-response workflows that minimise unplanned production downtime.
- Manage on-premise networking, edge compute, and secure connectivity between factory systems and cloud services.
- Automate repetitive infrastructure tasks — firmware updates, log collection, backup rotations.
- Collaborate with R&D and production teams to integrate new equipment into the reliability framework.
Requirements
- B.Tech / B.E. in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, or related engineering discipline.
- 2+ years in an SRE, industrial IT, or factory automation role.
- Working knowledge of Linux, networking fundamentals, and monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, or similar).
- Familiarity with MQTT, OPC-UA, or other industrial communication protocols.
- Bonus: exposure to GMP-regulated manufacturing environments or FMCG production lines.
